Morning lovely readers
If you follow me on twitter or Facebook, you will know that over the past couple of weeks, The Woman at 72 Derry Lane has climbed the charts on Amazon.
When it snuck into the top 20 overall – as in the whole shebang, all categories, I was giddy.
I’ve been a bestseller in lots of subcategories, but to get to the top 10 overall, well that’s usually down to the likes of the legendary Marian Keyes etc …
Then, a couple of days ago The Woman at 72 Derry Lane was sitting very pretty at no. 10. Cue more giddiness.
I genuinely didn’t dare to dream that it would go higher. Well I did, secretly, cross every finger and toe!
I’ve been away for a few days, with family in the Lake District. The last farewell to my aunt Margaret, who died earlier this year.
And last night, on the evening ferry from Holyhead, I decided to take a peek at the charts. For the craic.
Number THREE! And ONE in three categories!
The giddy levels are unprecedented. I should be writing … but … (See unfinished sentences to beat the band!)
Thank you all, for reading, for reviewing and telling friends about this book. It means a great deal.
And for my UK readers that are awaiting the paperback release with you, not long to go now! 16th November ….

I have no idea what I’ll do if it makes number one.
