Good weekend? I didn’t leave our house, but I managed to fit quite a lot into mine! Saturday was a day spent editing. Then on Sunday, I baked, cooked and spring cleaned – basically was all Susie Homemaker.
And the best part of the weekend was that I managed to read – a lot!
You might remember me telling you all about The Inspiration Project – a creative writing retreat, co-founded by Hazel Gaynor, Catherine Ryan Howard and me!
After running four Inspiration Project events we’ve been continually impressed by the level of talent, hard work and determination. We’ve also been thrilled to see attendees make great progress with their writing and we wanted to capture that journey through a new monthly blog called The Inspiration Diaries.
Six writers – three published, and three on the way to being published are sharing their ups and the downs – with the hope that our collective writing experiences inspire and motive you, and remind you that you’re not in this alone. If nothing else, we hope it makes you smile!
The six writers are:
Hazel Gaynor, Catherine Ryan Howard and me – co-founders of the Inspiration Project. Plus former Inspiration Project attendees – Casey King, Clare Daly and Tric Kearney.
If you’ve been following our progress so far, yay! March Part 1 is now posted and it’s bursting at the seams with news. The good kind!
