Good morning everyone
Right Flash Fiction challengers, hold onto your laptops, I have some exciting news to share with you all!
The entries to my little challenge have been to such a high standard that I have decided that it should become a competition – The 2013 Imagine, Write and Inspire Flash Fiction Competition.
While all of the entries are deserved winners, there can only be one ultimate champion so a judging panel has been established. And what a fantastic panel it is too!
The Judging Panel
Tracy Brennan, Founder and President of the Trace Literary Agency

Misja Weesjes Founder and Editor of 40Fabulous Magazine

I would like to thank Tracy, Misja and Karl for their wonderful generosity in getting involved in this competition. I know that it will mean a lot to all of the entries to just have their work read by you all, never mind to win. But speaking of winning, other than bragging rights for a year, what do you actually get?
The Prize
The winner of the Imagine, Write, Inspire Flash Fiction Competition will have their winning entry published in the July Issue of 40Fabulous magazine.
Thank you Misja for this wonderful prize.

So everyone are you as excited about this as me? What started out as a pay it forward idea for some aspiring writers who had asked me for help, has now turned into an opportunity for a new writer to have a published story in a magazine for their Writing Resume. That’s pretty cool.
I have one more piece of news for you, I have started a writing group on Facebook called Imagine, Write, Inspire. If you would like to join, please send me an email.
Have a lovely day and I look forward to reading more flash fiction pieces. Keep writing everyone!

OOh my stomach is all fluttery. Do you know, had this of been a competition I probably wouldn’t have entered! Too scared! I feel glad that I have fallen into it without realising. There was no pressure of ‘competition’ when I wrote my piece, and I think that that is the nicest way to write. Thanks so much for this opportunity Carmel.
Laura I am excited for you all. I would have loved this type of opportunity when I started writing, so it gives me great pleasure to help you guys out in this small way. And you need never have been scared, your piece was very good!
