Do you ever have a day that you wish you could just erase? Wish you could simply pick up the remote control and hit the delete button? I had one of those days yesterday. Doesn’t really matter why, it was just a crapola day.
I think there must be something in the air right now, because a lot of people that I’m close to are having crapola day’s recently. Some are having more than one crapola day, for them its just same crapola different day.
Apparently there there is a big old storm brewing over Ireland. This picture is said mahoosive storm swirling over little old Ireland. It looks so mahoosive I’m thinking we may wake up in the wonderful land of Oz tomorrow. Lions and tigers and bears oh my!
Maybe when it comes it will not only blow away all the trampolines from peoples gardens, (that happened to us honestly!) but also blow away all the crapola in their lives too. Ok I’ll stop saying crapola now. I promise.
After a lovely nights sleep I woke up feeling a lot better, as is often the case. And I remembered this quotation.
Take a deep breath, it’s just a bad day, not a bad life
When I had my bad day yesterday, right by my side, holding my hand, was my husband Mr H. And that makes me a very lucky woman. And then last night when I got home, I cuddled two very beautiful children that call me Mummy and make both Mr H and my world so complete. So it ain’t really a bad life is it? Truth be told, it’s kind of wonderful.
So today, everyone who is having a bad day, lets all just take a deep breath together.
And it could be worse…….. look at this poor cow! 🙂
Great post! Love the ‘message’ and your fun style of writing.
Jean thank you so much for saying that. I’m glad you enjoyed it. I try to make my posts fun when I can. It’s lovely to get feedback. Have a lovely day.
Great post Carmel. Heard today that this ‘crapola’ weather is meant to last for the next three weeks…….. but that’s only the weather. You are such an inspiration person that you can weather any storm especially with Mr. H by your side. Ev xx
Ok, lump in throat territory reading that Ev. Thanks pet xxx
What a fantastic blog post. I was filling up with tears until I saw the cow pics at the end and I started laughing!
Oh thank you so much for letting me know you enjoyed it. That’s one of my mottos, always smile through the tears. 🙂
Lovely post Carmel! I could be so stressed out and upset over something and then a cuddle from my boys and I’m happy again. Rollercoaster!x
Thank you April, that’s all it takes isn’t it?

I’ve had a few crapola days recently! But the cow pics helped! I’d say its a change in the weather – which is meant to go on and on and on!! Life is made easier by an occasional lunch in Cistin Eile and then all is good with the world again! Your blogs are fab x
I’m going to go look at that cow again! Thanks Sarah x
Bet it was made better by your two gorgeous wee one’s. You can weather any storm my dear captain with your lovely crew of H’s by your side. You have come so far yes ‘crapola’ days happen but they are manageable compared to all your good days not including your wow, fantastic and fabulous days 🙂 Just remember that you are one in a million kinda gal and aren’t we the lucky one’s to have you in our life’s xx
Ah you really know how to make me smile. Thanks for that cheer leading amazing shout out! X
