The Woman at 72 Derry Lane in Autumn Kindle Sale

Good morning everyone

Good weekend? I went back in time to the 1920’s, attending the Prohibition Party held in Wexford Speilgeltent. It was a magnificent night. We gambled on black jack tables, danced to swing music, watched burlesque dancers do their beautiful thing and drank gin in tea cups. All whilst dressed up in our 1920’s finery. Highly recommend!

Lots of news to share about books over the coming weeks, but today’s news is all about the bargains!

The Woman at 72 Derry Lane is one of the books selected for the Autumn Kindle Sale. So for a limited time it is only 99p to download, across most online retailers, worldwide.

And lots are taking advantage of the price drop, because it’s been climbing the charts every day. At the minute, it’s #28 overall, and #2 in a couple of subcategories. So much fun watching this!

I think, along with the great price, a certain scene in ITV’s Cold Feet might have helped! Product placement at it’s premium.

First of all, while Karen is on a date in Chapter One Bookshop, sightings of The Things I Should Have Told You were made.We were on set the day they filmed those scenes, so I saw first hand lots of my books on shelves. But I had no idea if one would make an actual scene in the finished edits.

Then if that wasn’t enough, there’s a scene with Adam and Tina in bed. And Tina is spurning the lovely Adam, because she is so gripped with a book and just has to finish the chapter. We’ve all been there, right?!  The book in question, okay, you’ve guessed it … it was The Woman at 72 Derry Lane.

So I’m saying it here … my book was in bed with Jimmy Nesbitt. Yep. You could say that The Woman at 72 Derry Lane is *almost* as good as sex with Jimmy too!

I say almost, because she did put the book down in the end. What’s a girl to do, right?!

Speaking of Cold Feet, my novel, Cold Feet The Lost Years is also on sale in Hardback edition in many stores in UK for only £5.00! The Hardback edition is so pretty, with a woven cover and rose gold leaf lettering ….

If you want to buy on Amazon, here’s the link Cold Feet The Lost Years Hardback

I’ll be back with some more news tomorrow!
