I’ve been shortlisted for a BGE Irish Book Award!

Yesterday was a good day. Yesterday was in fact a lovely day of epic proportions!

I attended the Shortlist launch of the BGE Irish Book Awards in the BGE Theatre. With a room full of media folk, booksellers, publishers, librarians and of course authors, the shortlist for fifteen categories was announced.

It was a pinch me moment to see my book – The Woman at 72 Derry Lane – shortlisted in the Popular Fiction Book of the Year, alongside my writing heroes – Marian Keyes, Patricia Scanlan, Sinead Moriarty, Melissa Hill and Ross O’Carroll Kelly.

It was so much fun to catch up with friends and cheer on the shortlisted writers in all categories. Photos below!

Voting is now open until 23rd November.

If you would like to vote for your favourite read, you can do so here!

Each category is packed with such diverse, beautiful reads, that it’s very difficult to choose a winner! If you do choose The Woman at 72 Derry Lane, I’d be very very grateful.

Chat soon,
